Join us for the Parents Everywhere 2nd Annual Cruise for a Cause with the Madness of Motherhood Show. We will be celebrating life with the fabulous Carnival Cruise Lines on Sept. 18-21, 2008 on the gorgeous cruise ship, Sensation. Departure is Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008 @ 4:00 pm EST from Port Canaveral. We will travel to the relaxing paradise of the Bahamas. Then, Sunday morning, Sept. 21, 2008 @ 7:00 am EST we will return to Port Canaveral.
This is a special time for all women—Moms, grandmothers, sisters, girlfriends, neighbors, business associates—to come together to rejoice the beauty of women and to raise awareness of breast cancer in women. Last year, we were blessed to have five breast cancer survivors with us on our cruise. We were privileged to witness their positive energy and love of life!!! This year we expect more survivors to share with us their stories!
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, except for skin cancers. The chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some time in a woman’s life is about 1 in 8 (12%). It is estimated that in 2008 about 182,460 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women in the United States. Women living in North America have the highest rate of breast cancer in the world. At this time there are about 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
Help us raise money for our local breast cancer programs; A portion of your cruise payment will be donated to help fight breast cancer. We’ve partnered with two incredible organizations for Cruise for A Cause 2008:
- MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Women Playing for Time Breast Cancer Programs
- Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach Programsfounded by Vanessa Echols, breast cancer survivor 2004.
Last year, we had over thirty amazing women join us on our Cruise for A Cause! Not only did we find the time for much needed relaxation, late night dancing, and endless delicious treats, but we also discovered new friendships. Wherever we went, we were laughing, talking, and celebrating! Even in pajamas and no make-up, we were beautiful and amazing!
Every day we are so busy with taking care of our families, keeping up with household duties, fulfilling our career goals—that we forget to put ourselves first. Now is your chance, Ladies! Imagine being in a place where everyone is always happy! Imagine strangers complimenting you!

Cost: Will be around $400.00/person, however, prices may vary as the date approaches.
