Hey Moms and Dads,
Whether you have a baby on the way or already have a kid or two, you won’t want to miss the Baby Safety Fair at the East Colonial Babies “R” Us this Saturday!, Sept. 6th from 11 am - 3 pm!
The Babies “R” Us on East Colonial will have a variety of vendors geared towards keeping babies safe, including McGruff Safe Kids, Orange County Sheriff’s Department Safe Kids, Child Shield USA, Child Senior Safety and Nanny Poppinz.
McGruff Safe Kids will be giving out FREE dvds to parents about safety, such as what to do if a stranger approaches you and what to do if you get lost. They will also be giving out information on their child identification services.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Safe Kids will have a certified car seat technician on hand for car seat inspections.
Child Senior Safety will be providing information on how to childproof your home to keep the little ones safe. They will also be providing information on the Pool Safety Resource on how to keep your kids safe in and around the pool.
Nanny Poppinz not only provides nanny services, but they also teach CPR.
Besides these vendors, there will also be two seminars, “Home, Safe Home: A Guide to Baby Safety” at 12pm and 2pm.
This Baby Safety Fair is not just for expectant and new parents. Everyone is encouraged to attend, including older siblings, babysitters and grandparents that might be taking care of the new baby. So mark your calendar for this Saturday and head on down to the Babies “R” Us on East Colonial Drive. They are located in Colonial Plaza in between Bumby and Primrose.
