August 14, 2008 at Coronado Springs Resort Walt Disney World here in Orlando Florida is the Annual YaYa Network Conference 2008. Tickets are $95 for members and $125 for non-members.
It is a Professional Women’s One-Day Conference focused on balancing professional and family life and women doing business with women.
This is a totally amazing conference with two dynamic keynotes from Dr. Kamy Kemp, MD, breast surgeon and Fawn Germer, author and speaker. In addition, there are several interesting break out sessions about everything you wanted to learn about balance and being a working mom/woman. It is here.
Breakfast and lunch are absolutely delicious. The women here are totally supportive and warm. The exhibitors have unique businesses and services to make your lives easier.
I went last year and loved every minute of it. Pam Carmen, the Founder of the YaYa Network is even more amazing and incredible in person. You will love her and being at this conference!

Hey Moms! If you’re looking for some girly time before school starts, I’ve got the place for you. Come for 2008 Speaking of Women’s Health Conference this Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at the Orange County Convention Center at the South Concourse from 7:30 am to 4 pm. Parking is $6 and tickets are $40/person. It’s totally worth it! I went last year and I had such a wonderful relaxing time. I am going this year and taking both my mom and sister.
Make sure after lunch you come down to room S331 A where I am presenting about “Taking TIme for You.” It’ll be fun and practical. The theme of this year’s conference is Discover Your Everyday Superheroes– we certainly are, aren’t we?!
You receive breakfast, an incredible lunch with a gift bag waiting at each seat with over $100 worth of merchandise, a Speaking of Women’s Health Conference huge tote bag, and lots of goodies from all the vendors/exhibitors. There is a keynote speaker and morning/afternoon breakout sessions about every aspect of a woman’s health.
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend some Me time with your girlfriends, mom, sisters. It is all day, but you certainly get your money’s worth. When you go once, you will want to block it in your calendar every year. WMFE and Orlando Health are the hosts and the sponsors are companies such as Kleenex, Loreal, Lifetime, Meredith, Garnier, and Kellogg’s to name a few.
They do a wonderful job bringing together experts from our community to share and educate us on how to take time for ourselves. Check back later this week when I report back how this year’s conference went. Also, it will be my mom’s and sister’s first time going. I’ll let you know what they thought.
Hope to see you there!
